How to Update Lédger® Live Wallet™

Keeping your Lédger® Live software updated is essential for security and accessing the latest features of your Ledger device. Follow this guide to ensure you have the latest version.

Steps to Update Your Lédger® Wallet

Check for a Notification Banner When a new version of Lédger® Live is released, a notification banner will appear at the top of the application. Click "Download update".
Install the Update Once the download is complete, click "Install now and restart". The Lédger® Live app will close, and the installation will begin automatically.
Verify the Update After the installation finishes, the updated version of Lédger® Live will reopen. Your settings and accounts will remain intact.

Manual Update (If Necessary)

If you don't see the banner in the app, you may need to update manually.

Navigate to the official Ledger website.
Download the latest installation file for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Run the installer. There's no need to uninstall your current version—the new one will overwrite it.
